If you want more than a $0.99 app you will have to bid more :) for every 1,500 bids the price will go up by another $1.00 (notice if the auction is under 1,500 credits you will not receive a paid app, you might receive a free one) maximum price is $8.00

This is great! However, if you win, instead of sending a code after purchasing it, could you send the money by 'gifting it to our username on iTunes? It makes it nearly impossible to keep apps after you update your device if you just use someone else's account. If not, the way you do it is still just fine!

I actually do not know how to do that but their is actually a way of keeping the app on your iTunes account by entering the code, unless you're using someone else's iTunes. The app(s) is/are usually kept on the iTunes account even when you update your device or get a new device, sorry.
