The listing, 100% Alpaca Yarn has ended.

Colors are black, yellow, baby blue and green/yellow varigated. The two balls are the same amounts as the two hanks.. I've just wrapped them around styrofoam balls. You pay shipping.

Hi, I was wondering, do the balls of yarn contain as much yarn as the skeins.

Yes! My husband would sit and wind the yarn onto styrofoam balls for me so they would be ready to use. The baby blue color may be slightly less.. but not by much if at all.

Hi! Pretty yarn! Might I ask what it is like to work with Alpaca? Is it itchy like acrylic or wool or is it softer...or maybe it is kind of firm like cotton? Any input would be appreciated, as I have never felt alpaca yarn.

Shipping should be relatively cheap. They will fit into a Priority shipping box. I believe the cheapest one is $5

can you verify shipping cost? they recently changed the smallest box size so the old small is now the new medium (and costs almost $11) and the new small that is $5 is about the size of a book or a couple dvds. with the balls being around styrofoam they may not fit into it, but they might all fit into a flat rate envelope taht's about $5 also. either way I would love to know how much shipping would end up being on them for sure.

I was not aware of this. But if the envelope would work too.. I will do that. How about.. winner pays $5 for shipping which is what I quoted.. and if it goes over.. I will pay for the extra money out of pocket?

YARN!! I am an absolute fiber-holic and can't get enough yarn. I love working with alpaca. You don't raise your own, do you? I'm in Oregon too and I know a lot of people in this state do.

No, I don't raise my own.. but I bet it would be fun! This yarn is made from Pacific Meadows Alpacas. Which I believe isn't far from where I live.
