3-3/4" is huge for a pin! Is it heavy?

It's a good size pin. It's about the size of my balm. It's not overly heavy no. I've seen much smaller resin pins twice as heavy but it's a solid quality piece. I believe it could also be used with a scarf instead of tying it you could loop it through the pin. I hope this helped.
