I measured it is approx. 10 inches across and then from the zipper closer across its 8 inches long. it has 3 inside slip pockets 1 large and 2 smaller and than on the front it has the zipper pocket under the elephant design. its a really cute bag. I am just not into vera any more. I will be sending out on Friday the 14th to the winner free shipping this is a good deal.
