I ask that, before you make comments as to their authenticity, you do a little research and explain yourself as there seems to be some debate at to weather these cards (I currently have 3 packs listed) are fake. I assume they meant counterfeit. When I purchased them they were in an authentic looking display box, and were the last 5 packs. I have looked up the UPC on Amazon and it is listed with this exact cover picture. I have scanned the back of the packs also, but without being able to see the other back to compare too I have to believe these cards are not counterfeit. If someone has another pack to compare too I would be very interested to see it.

ok if the packs came from a booster box the first way to tell if their fake or not, is if their multiple sets in one box of 36 packs, and if you open a pack and 1 random card is turned backwards its fake, if their are primes, or lvl x's they must be holo including the border of the card. as a suggestion since you said you purchased 5 packs open 1 and see if its like anything of what i said. oh and their is a cheap reverse holo in them and another way to tell if its fake is that card will be the first or second card after you open it, rares and reverses are always in the back. or middle-ish.

See my other comment. After getting some good feed back from another member I have concluded that these are NOT AUTHENTIC cards. I'm sorry you belived that they were authentic, but I made no claims to their authenticity and gave actual scans of the item (back and front).

I hate to open a pack, but here goes..... well boys and girls I give they appear to be counterfeit. I opened one of the packs that are not listed, A Platinum Rising Rivals with Houndoom on the front. First, one Giratina(Holo) was in the opposite direction from the rest. Second, the cards are too shiny to be authentic. And finally there were 2 cards not from the 127 list (2 Stadium Cards 104/132 & 109/132). However, the cards themselves look like they are supposed to with the correct numbering (looked up on Pokebeach) Guess I got screwed. Bottom line these are unauthentic cards you are bidding on. I will add a comment to my other auctions and if I list them I will describe them as knockoffs. Thanks for the information and the time you spent.

sorry this has happened to you, people will still bid cause half the people don't read the description nor the comments and they will get the item and complain to you their fake. then you tell them to read the comments and when they do they will feel stupid just don't refund them cause its mentioned everywhere. but still good luck. :)
