This is for a GPS it does not work it will come on but will not go past the starter screen it comes with the adapter that plugs in the cigarette lighter.... I have one that my mom gave me cause it wouldn't work, use to do the same thing we ended up finding out it was the cords that were no good! nice auction...

yes anyone that has this problem should try the cords before giving up on it..If it's not the cord then i don't know how to help...you have to know a little bit about the gps like the model and stuff but you can get the cords off ebay and they are cheap too..

Sorry I wish I knew you were going to put this up I would have told you before you did it..At least you know for future purposes..I mean it may not be the cords at all either it could just be something wrong with the gps it's self but checking the cord would be the first thing to test..
