this auction is for Pokemon Silver Version. the game plays but no longer saves. I don't have the means to fix it otherwise I'd just keep it but I figured someone out there would be able to get it fixed and enjoy the game. this game is one of my favorite Pokemon games of all time. I will offer a gin and with that gin comes free shipping only within the US. ALL listia rules apply. I'll only ship to listia verified addresses. You have 7 days after auction ends to provide me with your address after which I'll relist the item and keep your credits. any questions plz ask.

Pretty easy fix. The Cr2025 battery is dead and needs to be replaced. You can pick them up at your local store for $2.79. The hard part. Getting the cartridge open. You can buy a security bit for the screw online for a few bucks which will pay off in the long run or do the cheap DIY method. Find a cartridge that you don't mind getting dirty a lighter and a plastic see through ball point pen. remove the ink and the end cap and melt the end of the plastic tub until it starts to liquefy. Press the melting tube down on to cartridge and hold it there until it hardens. Now you have a custom security bit.

I am sure its the battery. Unless you have a fake imported cartridge, which you don't. Even if you did though it would make the collectable value go up even more for avid collectors. Putting the battery in it will make it last another 20 plus years. Would bid, but credits are low so I am just throwing info out for now.
