There's no absolute rate for credits to cash unless you're buying them from listia. For me and this is probably different from others, I say 1000 credits=1.00 dollar.

The vocaloid nendoroid is the most valuable item in this auction, but you can only get it if you hit tier 3. For just the regular tier 1 auction, I don't know what to suggest, there's lots of great choices.
