The listing, 2010 walking liberty gold coin has ended.

Here is an incredible coin I won here on Listia a while back. Since then the direction of my collecting has changed. So, with reluctance I am putting it back up for grabs. It is a nice size coin, bigger then a silver dollar, .It feels really good in my hand, great weight. On the back there is the beautiful spread winged american eagle.. A very collectible coin, sure to only increase in value.

24k gold layered
white enamel
walking liberty
weighs 1 ounce
measures 40mm
encased in a capsule
looks very good
much better than the picture
minted in the usa

does the back also have writing or is it just the eagle. This looks like one of those plated and painted American Silver Eagle coins.

If I understand your question Tony, yes, that is how it was produced, also on the back it is a coin with words, pics and such, white enamel, and 24 k gold painted. Same style as the front, that is if lady liberty is the front.of course. thank you for your question.

so is it actualy a us 1 ounce silver eagle painted and plated or a copy of one. just wondering because it may get higher bids if folks know it's a 1 ounce us silver eagle. I know I'd bid over 10,000 for it if it was.

on the back, under the white enamel, around the edge are the words"UNITED STATES OF AMERICA + ONE OUNCE FINE COPPER + ONE DOLLAR " . I have never seen a silver eagle or one of these before, but I do not believe this is what is called a silver eagle. I should have photographed it myself, but was too lazy and went with the pic from the auction I got it from. I'll do better in the future. Hope this helps.

If this is tru, then it is NOT gold but rather a Copper Coin ... correct?

There is no copper showing, but I assume under the white enamel and the gold paint is a solid copper round, correct. I only wish this was a gold coin, would make a hell of a down payment on a new car. I have done a bit of research and they are very collectible. oh, and good luck serenitymrk7
