***FREE SHIPPING USA ONLY***

This mid century Stove top Espresso Coffee Maker is made of a heavy Aluminum, has black Bakelite handle and knob. This item does have some scratches and wear on it from being used, but no dents or missing parts. This only adds to the charm of the piece. Can be cleaned up or left as is for a nice addition to your kitchen, makes for a great conversation piece. The only mark on this is on the middle of the base where the two pieces attach to each other which reads: Made In Italy and measures approx. 8" tall x 7 1/2" from spout to handle. The handle has a slight wiggle to it but seems very secure. Hold approx. 1 1/2 ( 12oz ) cups of water. The average demitasse / espresso cup (depending on style) that can hold between 2 - 4 ounces.

Questions & Comments

Hi. How did you determine this is a MCM piece, as opposed to a regular, manual espresso maker? Just asking because I've seen these sold up until about 10 or so years ago. Also, how did you verify Bakelite? Thanks. Watching. :-)

Actually, I did my research on the item after I received it and if it dates back to this era, which it does seem to, Bakelite would of been used. The person I got it from declared it as such to. I have had others look at it they affirmed the same thing. I'm no expert but I guess there is the possibility it might not be. I am going off of all the research and handling of the item while it's been in my possession. But also, I am aware companies are still making these types of junior espresso pots to this day. I hope that answers your questions...Thanks :)
