The listing, heirloom spring/fall cool weather vegetable garden seed collection pnw has ended.

I just bought these but scince we are planning on buying a farm house with acerage next year I am hoping to be doing some more research on these varieties and because we moved from our country home to a city home temporarily my garden space is a very small fraction of what it use to be (I worked 4 large raised beds for 4.5 years plus started a 1/2 acre community garden and got it established with new caretakers before moving) now I am reduced to a 4x4 a 4x4 a 4x4 all connected together in a L shape with the rear one being double in depth as the front two. Although I am limited in my gardening space compared to my past I am not going to give it up and I am going to continue my trials as I look forward to the future as a farmer and a farmers wife. These are my extra seeds that I do not have the space for as you will soon find out how huge these cabbages can get!!

I live in zone 8 near Seattle, Washington state but much further north and closer to the mountains and we have cold winters warm summers and generally a cool wet climate. These are a local small family owned seed company seed that only grows seed varieties that preform well in this type of climate of the pacific northwest. These late flat dutch cabbages for example will perform the best in my region and they will NOT do well in the south or warm dry areas. Pretty much everything in this lot likes cold wet weather and lots of rain or water.
