As you see the game plays and saves great,(my 3ds xl is not included)the only thing is the casing around the game frequently comes apart, I could easily glue the casing shut but I don't want to risk damaging the perfectly working game so please note that the game works perfectly just the casing comes apart at times. Can you take a picture of the casing when it's fallen apart? I'd like to survey what kind of damage it has when the case eventually comes apart.

There is no external signs at all where it comes apart, there is nothing to see, the case will just sort of come apart where it clamps together, that why all you need is to use a very tiny amount of glue to make sure the case stays shut tight, I've been hearing that nintendo used a different material for casing on heart gold and soul silver than for the previous pokemon ds games these are prone to coming apart, but like I said and you can see in the pics it works great and saves
