Up for Auction is a great instruction book on Knitting that includes patterns and lots of information. The Knitter's Bible includes over 20 chic, stylish and cozy projects for the home. It includes a good explanation of the many yarns available, a hand abbreviation chart, information on stitches and needles. The patterns included are good for the beginner knitter as well as the experienced knitter. Some of the patters are for:

This book is in new condition, no tears or wrinkled pages. I originally paid $22.99 for this book but need to downsize and clean so my loss is your gain. There is instruction on how to reading patterns and abbreviations. Also explanations on fibers, weight, color and texture. Hopefully this is helpful to you.
