Up for your consideration is this lovely, never been worn, new monet necklace. I am not certain what kind of metal this necklace is made of. There are small rhinestones that are on the links from the necklace clasp up halfway on both sides. There is a lovely dark purple amethyst on one end of the necklace. The length of this necklace is approximately 19 1/2 including the amethyst and 18 1/2 without the amethyst. This necklace is what I would classify as "Fancy Jewelry". Exposing jewelry to soaps, chemicals, even perfumes isn't good for them. Gently wiping down jewelry with a good jewelers cloth is the easiest way to keep the metals fresh and clean. Storing in tarnish resistant cloth bags or clear plastic bags with tarnish strips keep the jewelry pieces clean.
