these are organic non GMO seeds. I am enclosing 12 seeds in this auction. I don't grow beefsteak in my area because I don't normally get hot enough summers.

They are from 2013. They actually are from a seed pack that was sent to me from the company on the label. The back says packed for 2014. I will keep a few to plant but I don't have luck with the big beefsteaks.

I live in California so its hot enough here..... do they do well in hot climates ??? first time I will try to plant my own veggies ...ty

Ana114, Living in Southern Calif. you could start these now in some seedling soil and plant them out when they get about six inches tall. I put an empty toilet paper roll to keep them from cutworms. And these will need staking because they are indeterminatewhich means they can grow 6 ft. or more
