To my knowledge, this game has never been played. What do you want from me? Blood. What is now to keep the person who gets it from downloading it and then saying it doesn't play right and they want their credits back. They could even send the game back and then I would have a useless game and no credits. This is from what you are saying. I don't know what to do now and never knew that putting something on an auction could be this big of a hassle. I would have never listed it if I had known it would be this big of a problem.

Ok guys, here's the deal with games like the new Call of Duty's that require steam. Once the code is activated, it can never be used again - it gets tied to a steam account. Once tied to a steam account you no longer require the disc, case or CD Key. If you want to reinstall the game you can use the Disc but you dont have to, you have the option to download it. So you see, even if he sends you this stuff he or the person it was from will still be able to play the game, and you will be left with a useless keycode and a game you Will Not be able to install without entering a new, working code.

I would be careful with this bid, sorry phoenixfly but from what I see you typing you are not giving the bidders enough information about the acctual bid. Did your grandson ever play the game on the pc?

And yes you can say "he has bought used pc games before and never had a problem" they Defintly did Not Require Steam, Steam lets you install it to one account, and one account only.

The game can be played again even if the code has been used, the winner will just need it to install the game.

I think what they are meaning is, when you buy a pc game brand new there is a code you have to enter to prove ownership and you have to enter before you can install the game. It's normally on the instruction booklet otherwise the game will not be playable.

I don't know if it has been played before. The box has been opened. It was my grandson's and he has a copy on Xbox so doesn't need this game anymore. He has bought used pc games and never had a problem with a code.
