I've had this lovely necklace for years and years! I bought it in Massachusetts at an Antique Show.I don't know a thing about it, except it's pretty, very lightweight (compared to any other necklace this weighs nothing! If you can't wear heavy jewelry ,it's great! I wore this after I tore a muscle in my neck and it got lots of compliments because it is so different! And it didn't hurt my neck to wear it. I the thread real gold? I can't say for but I'm guessing yes, because after all these yrs.the color has not changed at all.My guess is it's from Asia , somewhere.And would look great with anything! Dress up or casual! The tassel appears to be real silk. Shipping is FREE! I included a pic of the "Hundred Million" snowstorm, that 100 million people across the country experienced!
