Hi, I've powered the unit up so you can see it in video view mode as well as a few shots with the menu showing and the advantage of the tilt LCD screen. Keep in mind when using LCD screen (can optionally disable) it will drain the Li-ion battery faster. The battery is 3-4 years old so like any battery it will discharge faster than if brand new, but it only takes a few hours to go from near empty to fully charged. While the battery is fine, if you want optimal performance from it; you are free to replace it with a compatible Li-ion one...details are in the product manual.
