Questions & Comments

What material are the indian prefolds? Are the used covers in good condition... any stains? And would you consider free shipping over a certain amount of credits? Sorry to ask so many questions.

That's okay! They are made of indian cotton. The covers are in good condition with no stains. It's easy to tell the thirsties covers are used (mostly by looking at the velcro), but they still have plenty of life in them. The fleece/wool covers are in excellent condition.

I might consider free shipping if the bidding went high enough.

Thanks for replying so quickly! I'm VERY interested in your auction. I cannot afford the shipping at this time though. I'm willing to bid high... at what amount would you feel comfortable shipping free?

Gotta love technology and e-mail alerts on cell phones! :) I understand; I feel the shipping is high, but I didn't want to put myself out by shipping all those prefolds (they're pretty bulky!)

I'm not greedy, but I'm brand new to listia & don't really know reasonable values of credits yet. I think I would want at least between 500-1000 to do free shipping.

I understand you're new and not very familiar with reasonable values of credits yet. I was actually going to offer 1000 credits for free shipping. I think that's reasonable. 500 credits wouldn't be very much, in my opinion. I'm more than willing to spend 1000 credits though! :)

Awesome! Thank you for being honest! I will do free shipping for 1000 credits then. :)

Watching. I am willing to bid pretty high on these too if free shipping is offered at a certain point! :)

Just an FYI... you can't change the shipping/description or anything about the auction once it has bids. I guess I should have waited to bid so that you could put that in the description... I just got excited and bid! lol Thanks for the free shipping offer!

Ah, thanks for the info! That would explain why the edit button is gone. I'm such a noob. ;]

BTW... I'm curious... do you/have you used cloth diapers? I'm due in August and I'm determined to use them... even though my family thinks I'm crazy and says I should use disposables.

Yes, I cloth diapered my son for 2.5 years until he potty trained, and my almost 2-year-old daughter is still in cloth now. I'm due with my third in about 6 weeks. I was planning on using prefolds & covers with this baby, but we recently decided to go the pocket-diaper route (which is what I did with my first two). I use a brand called bumgenius, which is a more expensive option. When it comes to cloth, prefolds and covers are definitely the cheapest way to go, so I really wanted to give it a try. But I've been using bumgenius for almost 4 years now and I love them, so I'm going to stick with what I know.

I've heard really great things about Bumgenius diapers! I'm thinking I want to try the cheaper route and go with prefolds and covers. Just hoping prefolds won't leak... :/

I wish I had some experience to ease your mind, but I've never actually used the prefolds! My daughter did wear the fitted pink kissaluv with the light blue thirsties cover a few times before she out-grew it, and that never leaked on us. They say Thirsties covers are some of the best.

I've done the prefolds with a cover and it works well! I like prefolds better than any other insert out there!

I enjoy the pocket change snap ones with prefolds as well as prorap diapers that are all snap! Velcro I've gone through and it wears out in time and sticks to everything. My thumb was raw peeling the fuzz out of the velcro. Cloth diapers are the way to go!

Well it looks as if this is doing very well for you! :) I gave it a good run but I think I have gone as high as I want right now. Great auction!
