Actually, Marvel Tales #18 is from January of 1969 but it is a re-print of The Amazing Spider-Man #23 originally published in April of 1965. Just for those who care to know. Joe

Could you tell me were the year the comic book were publish is found on them. I have several GI Joe's to list just don't know were to find the dates on them. I have the 25 Anniversary. That one has the date on the front cover.

Normally it is listed at the bottom of the first page with the comic story after opening the cover. Sometimes it can be on the second, third, or even last page. I have several Valiant comics that have no year on them at all on the inside and outside. I do not know if this is a misprint or just the way they did it with those.

If im not mistaken this is 1974. Marvel tales is like the anniversary reprint of the original 68 amazing spiderman. I have acouple. Good auction but not as old as you thought

Sorry but you are mistaken. It is dated 1969. I will add a pic to assure you that I am correct. You are right about the cover art for sure. It is the same cover art as the Amazing Spiderman in 68'. I have been an avid comic collector for over 20 years and know how to date a comic. Thanks for your concern. :)

You need to prove the date. Take a picture of the second page with copyrights
