Up for your consideration is this $5.00 Confederate Bill that I found while I was cleaning out my grandmother's attic. My grandmother was nice and gave me the old money that I found in her attic. I had all the old money, including this confederate bill reviewed by one of Heritage Auction's experts. He did say that the money was genuine and put a value on it. However, I was not able to consign with them because they have a certain value that your collection has to be for them to consign it and mine did not reach that value. So that is why I am posting some of the money on listia. There is no facsimile stamp on the back of this bill. The number is written in a fancy manner, but it looks to read - 69 895.
