This is a great reference book for the nurse, medical assistant, EMT, anybody in this type of field in need of the quick reference guide for treatment in cases of emergencies, general care, and basic knowledge. Good book for the student to supplement their learning of basic nursing skills. If you're hungry for knowledge, then this is the book for you. This book was my bible through my EMT and certified medical assistant classes and internship.

There are no notes or markings in the book and it comes from a smoke free home. It is however for a reason unbeknown to me missing its editor page which appears to have been torn out in the front. I purchased the book second hand and didn't notice the editor page missing until I tried to look up the year of the book's printing for this auction. This is how inconspicuous the missing page is. I did however look up the book by its ISBN number and it was edited in 1990. So it is rather up to standards in basic medical care from A to Z. You will learn a lot even if you're not a student . . . . ! !
