The listing, ELGIN POCKET WATCH has ended.

This watch is made by the Elgin Natl.Watch Co. I was told that it was made between 1895 and 1903 I believe the casing is gold with etching around it it looks like its in good shape and the inside looks almost new it has 17 jewels but it is not working I don't think it would take much to get it to work because it is so clean I am too clumsy to even think about messing with something that is that Dante it also needs a clear face piece I was told they keep a record of all Elgin watches made by using a serial number this is the number that I found on the inside it is 31353380 this is all the info that I know about it.

yes I took the back of it and it unscrewed quite easily I was amazed at how good looking the inside was thank you for your comment

I looked up the serial number, this particular model was made in 1927

I don't know why its not letting me put up any more photos I tried about 10 times and it only lets me put up these two photos there is kind of a design logo on the back it has letters that are PLW
