This is a large 3.10 carat cushion cut pink sapphire. it was sold to me as 'Natural sapphire'. It is not in my estimation. I do have other sapphire that i know to be natural that are of similar color -however this one is crystal clear, well cut and simply too large (3.10 carats) to be real sapphire at the price I paid. (Somewhat under $20). Regrettably I do not know if it is simply 'enhanced' (real sapphire that has been treated), a synthetic (same chemistry but man made) or artificial (man made look-alike / not necessarily same chemistry). It IS very beautiful and would look great in your ring or a ring for that special someone.
