An HP hard drive works on an Acer? Why didnt you just back it all up to a disk or Flash instead? I would have given 10k credits right off,but with no hdd,it isnt worth it.
I agree with you, if it was my decision i would have simply moved the important info i wanted to keep onto some external storage and left the drive in the HP keeping the value up. unfortunately we cant control what others do. as far as it working with an acer her solution was actually quite unique, she used a circuit board out of an external hard drive that the HDD had died on and was able to get the HP to work with the acer via usb as an external hard drive. hence the back up. thank you for your inquiry, i am always open to constructive criticism and hope that i answered anything you were curious about to your satisfaction. feel free to ask or comment on anything else and i will get back to you with answers to the best of my abilities :)
Hey sorry I haven't been responsive to all of your inquiries, im actually using a buddies phone right now because mine broke on me. Anyways I've been doing some research and because the batterie is so heavy the cheapest way I've found to ship it is those flat rate boxes besides the envelopes which doesn't sound safe at all Based on the size I think the medium will work. Open to suggestions if anyone knows a cheaper way to do it. Cheaper I'm all ears. Anyway to ship to 46203 its $12.35 as well as everywhere else in the US. If I have to use a large it will jump up to about 15,16 bucks.
That is interesting, I will try that, ty never even thought about it that way. You answered You answered my question in more ways than ya know and saved me a few bucks also. Ty again
No motherboard is fine. My sister just had information on there that she wanted to keep, and use as her back up for the acer she got. It's quite a clean computer. Oh and I think I screwed up and put 15" instead of 15.4" screen just FYI. I am trying to edit that in the post.
ill put it this way, if you wanted you could pull the screen, put it in a brand new computer that it was compatible with and no one would ever know the difference.
