Description

The listing, Sony E-Reader has ended.

I inherited this e-reader, but I never use it, I'm old fashioned and still prefer books, so for someone that is more than happy to be up to date with the way they read, then this is for you.

For anyone that is a James Patterson fan, you'll really enjoy this. There are three James' books. "Alex Cross's Trial," "Cross Fire," and "Don't Blink." The fourth book is by Michael Balkind titled, "Sudden Death." These were all books downloaded by my dad. I have never used it since I got it, so it needs to go to someone who will use it. The reader comes with everything you will need. Happy bidding. Anymore questions, just ask :)

Also, do not ask me to lower the days. Everyone needs a fair shot at bidding. Less days isn't really fair to anyone, because not everyone will know about this auction til it's too late. Also, do not ask me to lower the GIN I have set. If you don't want to put up the asked GIN, then just bid normally. Thank you. Please, no rude comments either.

No, ma'am. I didn't mean anything bad by it. Just wanted to tell the bidders/watchers the specs. That way they don't have to look them up. That is all. ☺

That's very nice of you. I wasn't even able to find an owner's manual to download for the e-reader. I wanted to see if I could get a manual put together, so I could send it with the e-reader, but couldn't find anything, so thanks for giving the info that you did. Now everyone should have a better idea of what they're getting :)

Guess I should have read all the information before asking the question. I have about 100 books on my laptop that I can download to this type reader. I can make it work. Thanks for all the information. I am going to bid later in the auction.

Since you haven't explained about the reader, please allow me to. This is the Sony Reader PRS-300SC, otherwise known as the Sony Pocket Reader: Silver Edition. It has a 5" screen, and 440MB usable space. You have to add books via USB, as this reader does not have slots for SD/Micro SD or Memory Duo Pro Sticks. It does not connect to the Internet. It does not play mp3s/audiobooks. It is not backlit, but a case with a built-in light cane be purchased separately. It was released in 2009, and discontinued in Late 2011.

I have owned, and been using one, for over a year, so I can vouch for the quality. The PRS-300SC is a wonderful eReader, if you want one just for reading books. Speaking of eBooks, it reads .PDF, ePub, and .TXT files. It will even play graphics-heavy .PDF files, such as eMangas.

Here's 3 Different User's Manuals/Guides for it.

You could easily direct the winner to these links, or download the PDFs and add them to the eReader.
