The listing, Antique Sterling Silver Match Case has ended.

This is an interesting estate find. I believe it is a lighter case. Looks similar to a zippo case, but of course no opening to refill for butane!

It is sterling silver (NOT plated) and has great detail. Measures 2.5" high x 1.5" wide x .5" deep. It does have some rubbing to the detail from age. Not sure on the weight, but it is a solid piece!

it is actually a match case, the small ridges on the bottom were for striking the match. This is really nice!!!!
