No this hangs by screws or nails then slips onto the screws, like a picture frame.I think because a person pushing on it( to get soap out) that tape would not hold the caddy.Plus the caddy would need to come off the wall so you can clean behind it.

Buy a 1/4"(#10) masonary bit to drill holes.The local hardware store sells anchor kits with masonary bit for about $10. The anchors can also be used on the outside walls of your house or in unfinished basement or garage.Or you might try carpet tape(sticky on both sides) on put the caddy on the wall away from the shower head.
