Does the velvet on the inside of the jewelry box cover up the gears? I hope so.

Sorry it's taken me a bit to answer your questions, I currently have the flu :( the dimensions are it's 3" tall, it's 3" x 4.5" measuring the top if it. The place to put jewelry is 2.5" x 3". & no the blue velvet doesn't cover up the gears. The 4th picture shows that the gears are exposed. Anything else I'll be happy to answer. Hope this info helps u. :)
