AUCTION FOR ONE (1) BLACK Iridescent Aurora Borealis Bracelet:
For your consideration a stunning vintage, BLACK Iridescent Aurora Borealis Bracelet. this very rare (never worn) collectible & limited color bracelet is over 50 years old!!
This plastic bangle bracelet is really gorgeous with its great detailed floral design all around! This bracelet measures approximately 2 1/2 inches across the opening & 3/4 of a inch width.

Picture #9 depicts the cover of my reference, "Collecting Art Plastic Jewelry". Picture #10 and #11 are copies of the pages in the book for your reference (and of course you are free to seek other references).

I listed a LAVENDER from this same series on Listia.com, and it was won w/in moments of listing for GIN!! These vintage carved bracelets sell for $30.00 each in the antique shops when you can find them! I found them listed in my "Art Plastic Jewelry" book on page 209 for $65.00.

So, ladies and gentlemen, have fun and bid with confidence! these are real antiques, and highly collectable (and small enough to leave room in your house for you, lol!).

Hi, yes, they are from the '50's, yet never used or worn. I have several colors of these, but it has always been the Black ones that do it for me! I'm glad we're in agreement on that, lol! I wish you good luck with your bidding!
Blessed be
Victor

Love them! I collect these bracelets! I wish I had the credits and the money to acquire one! I too am on disability and only have exactly $12.00 left after bills and meds. And for now I cannot list my things for I cannot pay for shipping because my husband told me last night I won't even have the $12.00 until the end of May. Then I start getting what I am supposed to be getting after paying all my bills. Health care is so expensive. Again would love to own this!! Happy Day and Happy Auction :) and I also fan & watch too.

I hear you! This is why I have to charge s&h for my auctions. It doesn't cost the winner much, yet I can list my stuff. If I had to pay the shipping on all the stuff I give away, I wouldn't be giving stuff away for long! Listia would LIKE us all to offer free shipping, but even they know that all people simply aren't able to afford that. If you read the Listia rules (www.listia,com/rules) you'll find that charging for s&h is fine as long as you don't go overboard. There's a basic maximum amount for some types of items, such as Jewelry can't exceed $6 for domestic shipping. But even those are ammendable if the situation demands it. According to Listia, you can charge as much as it actually costs to ship the item, including packing materials, insurance, tracking #'s and delivery confirmation, as long as it can be documented. So, list away, and let the winner pay the postage. If you're like me, you NEED the diversion that Listia gives. There've been many hours of pain that Listia has helped to distract me from. I know what you mean about having $10 or $20 left to live on after the bills , meds and Dr. installments have been paid. I'll swear it's like the bill collectors, Dr's and pharmacies get a notice each month telling them how much I'll make so they'll know how much to bill me, lol!! I'm sure you'll end up with one of these things soon, be patient!
Blessed be
Victor

One of these would look awesome in my aunts jewelry box I inherited it is from the 20's and she raised me. She got it from my gran while she was in for having tuberculosis! It is such a beautiful black mirrored painted inside it is stunning! I would never part with it that is for sure. All the nieces wanted that but nope it was given to me after she passed. This bracelet has brought back to me so many happy memories...thank you for that Victor...thank your blessed heart!!!

Well, that is the reason we keep old stuff isn't it? Because it triggers all the old memories we have associated with the first time we saw such and such wearing that bracelet, or when he gave you that one ring that looked SO huge when he put it on your finger! I know that part of the reason I collect Native American Silver and Turquoise jewelry is the memories of a happier time in my life that are triggered by seeing it and holding it in my hand.

I so wish my husband was kind and would pay out for me. But he won't and when he gets here I have to go. I hate how he makes me live!!! But alas that is my problem and some day I wish and dream of being free as a dove can be! Talk to ya later Victor...email me if you want I will message it to you. Ok?
Happy Day My Listian Friend :)

Sounds like an excellent candidate for an enforced attitude adjustment, applied with extreme prejudice! After all, they shoot horses, don't they?

No. I'm sorry, but I'm disabled, and live on a very small fixed income. I'm unable to pay for domestic postage, let alone international postage, which is MUCH more expensive! I really wish I could, but it's just not in the cards at this time.

Blessed be,

I'm confused. There are two bangles pictured in the first picture. Which one is being sent? Is the last picture of single bangle the one we are receiving?

Sorry to confuse, Lady! I have several, all the same. The auction is for One (1) STUNNING VINTAGE, BLACK, IRIDESCENT, AURORA BOREALIS BRACELET from my collection. The pictures depict several of the bracelets in my collection along with a sign to prove that I actually have them and it's not a drop-ship. The one you actually receive will be exactly like any of the ones shown, or may BE the one shown, I have no way to know as they are identical.
