These are adorable!!! I don't know what kind of plants these are because everything is in Chinese; however, the instructions are pretty easy to understand because there is a step-by-step pictorial. The kit comes with soil packet and FOUR types of seeds in individual packets!!! If and when the plant becomes too big for the tiny terrarium, it can be transplanted and a new seed (or seeds) planted. What fun!!! I have been trying for over a year to chase these down and finally found some and now I can share them with you! These are a little different from the ones I have seen before. The planter itself is the middle section. The bottom round "cup" unscrews, and the cone-shaped terrarium on top also unscrews. When put together, the sections form a droplet shape. I had to experiment a little to figure out the three sections!!!! Water goes in the bottom and is absorbed through the holes in the planter. What will they think of next?!!!
Kit also contains small spoon with point on end of handle. No chain or necklace cord included. There is a short thin cord to attach to a cell phone or hang from a rear view mirror. This is attached to the jump ring with a lobster clasp. The two green rings can be used to place the pendant on a flat surface - one to carry with you and one for home. (See photos) It is recommended when not wearing the pendant, put it in a bright window or anywhere it can get bright light, but don't let it dry out. Add water about once a week or when plant appears dry. There are two tiny air holes near the top of the cone.
would you share where you were able to get these? i would love to use them to help teach my kids how plants grow and the science behind it all.....thanks fanned
