Huge crimson red flowers that feature black centers that are the crown of the flower. Also known as Flanders Field Poppy. Poppies love full sun or partial shade and are very drought resistant. They grow to about 2ft. Perfect for borders, backdrops, fields, and for lining a garden walking path. They offer huge blooms that measure up to 4" across. One of the nicest aspects is that the green, fern-like foliage remains in the backdrop to allow the flowers to steal the show. The stems are thin, hairy and green. In the morning and evening, the flower faces the ground and the sun in the afternoon.

An exceptional choice for an early spring garden.

Plant late fall in southern regions and early spring in northern regions.
