The listing, Tote made from Recycled Plastic Bags has ended.

This auction is a (recycled) tote bag with button closure. They have a wide variety of uses; such as book bags, gym bags, laptop bags, beach bags, purses, and an infinite more uses. They are extremely durable, waterproof, and drainable for things such as sand and water. Easy to clean and fast drying.

Using various stores plastic bags, they are turned into 'plarn' aka plastic yarn.

*** This item is purse sized with a cross-body strap length made with Shaw's bags it's tan w/touches of black/green

Measurement are approximately:

Wow that's really cool! :D how do you make plarn from bags?

To make your plarn (plastic yarn):
Smooth wrinkles out of the plastic bag, fold bag in half length wise and then in half again. Trim off handles and bottom and discard them. Cutting across the narrow end cut bag into 1" strips. When you unfold the strips it should form a circle. Loop 2 strips together like you would 2 elastics. Continue looping them together and then roll into a ball and crochet. You can also find directions on youtube.
