So pretty and sometimes can re-seed itself once started! PORTULACA - a.k.a. Moss Rose - Succulent branches which produce an abundance of carnation like blooms in many vibrant colors including cherry red, lavender, purple, yellow, orange, white, pink and many bi-colored flowers - Makes a great container plant or as a ground cover - plants do not grow more than 6 inches tall - tolerates dry hot conditions very well - grow as Annual in full sun or part shade in ZONES 3-10.

They look great trailing over a wall, I should have taken photos last year!

I plant them in hanging baskets with osmocote and they bloom until frost.These are my favorite flowers, they are safe around kids and pets. Withhold water to increase blooms.
