The listing, HBO's The Newsroom Season 1 Ultraviolet has ended.

This is the Ultraviolet code for HBO's The Newsroom.

HBO codes are good for Ultraviolet AND Vudu, but the Vudu side has already been redeemed. Please note that for some reason HBO UV does not show up in Vudu, so this show will only be accessible through Flixster (or other services that do recognize the HBO UV titles).

If vudu is already redeemed then there is no uv code? iTunes maybe but you can't redeem a uv more than once and if you redeemed thru vudu there isn't another uv to redeem.

In this particular case, for all HBO titles at the moment, they provide you with Vudu OR iTunes, AND Ultraviolet.

For some reason HBO UV titles DO NOT show up in Vudu, so they give you a separate Vudu code. The Vudu code has been redeemed (and therefore the iTunes code disabled), but the UV code has not. This code is verified good for UV.

According to support tickets I've had with Vudu, if HBO once again links their UV with Vudu, any Vudu titles will automatically become UV and vice versa. For now though, this is their solution.

If it's a separate UV where does it redeem because if it's UV it should show up in vudu no matter where you redeem it assuming your UV account is linked.

This is not the case for HBO titles, as I've mentioned.

HBO titles within Vudu ARE NOT Ultraviolet. They do not have the UV logo next to them and anything redeemed within Vudu WILL NOT show up in your UV locker. And the reverse is true as well. Any UV HBO title redeemed through their website, www.hboselect.com/thenewsroom, WILL NOT show up in Vudu.

I do not know why this is, but I am 100% certain of this. When you go to the above site and type in a code it gives you two sets of redemtion: the first section is iTunes or Vudu and you can only select one radio button, then the bottom section is just UV, with it's own separate radio button.

Via Flixster fore sure, since that's where it redeems. Potentially other UV services as well, but I don't know for sure. I tested Target Ticket just now and none of my HBO UV titles showed up.
