You must be logged out of Vudu to do this. I cannot stress enough to double and triple check you are logged out. I've accidentally redeemed codes doing this because I was hasty and forgot to log out.

You go to vudu.com/redeem and search for the movie you want to test. WHILE LOGGED OUT you enter the code and hit redeem. If it asks you to then login, the code is good, if it says code invalid, well, it's invalid or has already been used. DO NOT then log in, or it will redeem. Just close the window and you're done.

I usually do this in a Chrome Incognito window just to be safe.

That will simply tell you if the code is good for a movie. You can't test points, but they always have points.

points only, the movie one has 3 images of screen shots at the top and says digital copy included.

the site will say movie, but you have to put the code it to see if ti becomes unlocked.
