These perfectly carved and smoothed beads appear to be made of shell, but could also be stone ... I'm kind of undecided. They are about 5 mm, with a beautiful blend of ivory and buttery carmel. Delicious, and LOTS of fun with this many beads!

I wish I could tell if they are stone or shell, need to have one of those magnetic spectrometers, it would be so much easier if I could just remember!

Thanks! Yup, I only have one lot of these, like most of my beads. The ones I have multiple lots of are the ones the ebay seller sent me in a big treasure box ... but most of my beads are just leftovers I haven't used.
