The listing, 1917 $2 Wine Tax Stamp has ended.

In 1917, the Russian Revolution would depose Czar Nicholas II: the US would become involved in World War I; and the US government would collect $2 in tax on wine--$2 as a result of this stamp (at the time being equal to about half a working man's daily salary in 1917!) Prohibition would begin in just a few years after this stamp was used. Makes me wonder how much revenue prohibition cost the federal government?
