Thank you, I gathered them from my yard and soaked them in vinegar water and then baked them with whole graham marsalam to decorate for the holidays, we hosted thanksgiving so I made all of my own decor even the table runner! :)

Love the idea of the holiday cones! why the vinegar? does that disinfect them or bleach/lighten them? and the choice of spices is very clever! wonder if chinese 5 spice blend would be as lovely!
