This ring is from my "Premium Collection."

It is a fantastic ring, solid .925 Sterling Silver, Stamped, with an enormous deep blue topaz Cubic Zirconia in perfect proportion.

This ring is a size 9.

The stone measures an incredible 12 mm x 16 mm and I would guess is about a 9 - 10 Carat equivalent. The band, with its intricate filigree work, is 1 cm next to the stone and 4 mm at the back. The underside of the ring is completely open, allowing tons of light to let this ring sparkle. It's also low profile, sitting just 9 mm above the hand -- but don't get me wrong, this is a ring of considerable substance and weight, solid Sterling Silver, Premium all the way.

Her description clearly states: solid Sterling Silver. She was referring to the fact that many sterling pieces nowadays have a Rhodium plate over top to make them shine but when the Rhodium starts to wear off then the cleaning begins...... you know silver must be cleaned fairly often when the air hits it..... the Rhodium stalls off the process for awhile..... makes the ring really shiny when new..... I'm no expert but this is a trusted seller and I just wanted to clarify if that's ok.....

Thank you, Rena .... It IS Silver, but I STILL don't recommend re-sizing these Rhodium-plated rings. I did once and was not satisfied with the result, so I just advise do so at your own risk. But the ring IS Silver, as stated. Thanks again for the extra clarification.

No, because these rings are one metal over another, they are not re-sizable ... I always recommend getting your right size in these rings, even the Sterling Silver, because they're so often Rhodium-Plated these days.

If the ring is stamped 925 sterling then it should be a solid metal and they should be able to have it resized.
Are you saying that it ISN'T solid silver and it is just bonded silver over another metal (silver plated) ?? Curious .. because that isn't what your description of this ring is saying.

Please read all the comments, I think it may clarify things for you ... I realize it can sound a bit confusing, how can I not recommend re-sizing a ring if it's Solid Sterling Silver ... but it's just as Rena says, the Rhodium coating.
