The listing, Sewing for beginners has ended.

This is another one of those free e-books that I was able to download a while ago. I figured that I would list a copy of it for that person who wants to try sewing but not have to pay so much money to start. If you have any questions, then be my guest to ask them. I only ask that you be nice.

In my growing home database, I have many different types of project based e-books that are PDF's like this one. The subjects of these books generally consist of beading, sewing, crafting, and cooking. For those of you who are interested in my auctions, please answer me one question: would you like to see more e-books like these listed on here, and if so which category or categories? Thank you all for the feedback, I really do appreciate it.

I think this would be good for my daughter. she wants to learn but my being a truck driver makes it hard for me to teach her.

This book certianly might be of good use for her. The great news is that it get sent electronically and is in PDF form so that if you want to read it on the screen and you may even be able to print it out, like most other PDF's.

That is a fantastic question. I just checked and including front cover, title page equivalent, and table of contents, the book is 57 pages long. It gives some general advice on how to choose a needle, and its version of sewing patterns being included is explanations on how to make the sewing patterns using mainly household items. The only major downside about this book is that this book appears to be written for a beginner who at least knows how to hand sew a basic up/down stitch, or can work a sewing machine well enough to get a decent straight stitch.
