Questions & Comments
I'm really hoping to win this bid. My son is a Fire Fighter and I'm very proud of his accomplishments. I think it would make a great gift for him.
Thank you for your kind words and moreso, thank you for being a FireFighter. Your job is unpleasant and at times downright disgusting to see severely injured people that suffered burns from the fires or the devastation of buildings burning to the ground. Thank you and your team of FireFighters and all those who work everyday to save lives and do so selflessly. My hat's off to all of you.
Thanks. A lot of people don't truly understand what firefighters sometime go through. You son will meet a lot of people on his journey as a firefighter, and he will find out it will make him a better and stronger man. Please thank him for me for the brave and selfless man that he is. Thanks, Tony
Thank you for the encouragement. He loves being a FireFighter. He is a volunteer firefighter and he takes this job seriously. Everyone who knows him likes him. He is an honest, hard working Christian man. I was thinking not only would this dollar be a great gift for him, but a legacy to his son, Jeremiah, who is now just 6 yrs. old. I will be sure to tell Shane what you said and I agree with you, it has helped him. The most important thing that made him the man he is , is that he gave his heart to Christ when he was just 4 yrs old. I wondered if he really knew what he had done, but as I watched him grow up, there was no question in my mind that he certainly did know. He was in Boy Scouts for several yrs. and there few things that a kid can do that will teach them values and encourage the moral values that parents teach their kids. Shane is also a carpenter, so was Jesus. As you said, being a firefighter was also a great help. I will take credit as being his Mom and the first to start teaching him moral values and I feel that all of these things have made Shane the man he is today. A man that any Mom could be proud of. I know, I'm bragging on him but he deserves the best. :-)
I'm a volunteer firefighter to, have been for 24 years. It one of the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. I've worked my way from a rookie firefighter to fire chief. Your son sounds like an amazing man, Your story about you and your son is truly inspiring. I feel truly blessed. Thank, Tony
You're so very welcome. I have two sons. I am equally proud of both.of them. My oldest, Dusty is a bigbtall, kid magnet. If Dusty is in a room full of people, the kids will gravitate toward him. It's like they look at him and think oh, he's one of those. A grownup with a kid inside. It's true too. He will volunteer to help anyone who needs a hand and expects nothing in return. When he's doing something he likes, he will work his butt off.doing it. Now, if it's not something he wants or likes to do, good luck. He rode bulls in a few rodeos local to where we lived in Northern Minn. He learned it takes gutsto ride a bull, but bulls are not friendly at all. He's been injured enough to tell him it's dangerous. I never watched him ride. He asked me why, you like bull riding. That's true I do, but I'll be darned if I'm going to watch 1880 lbs of mean and hateful critter mash my son into the dirt. He like his brother l
love to fish and hunt. Boy do I miss.fresh fish and venison since I left Minnesota and moved to Georgia. Like I said, I'm proud of my sons and I feel blessed that God gave them to.me. They and their kids are my pride and joy.
