Other than going to wiki, what history do you personally have on this piece? how old is it.
i see the what im assuming to be the front of the coin it looks like there are some scratches on the left side. how deep and damaging are they?

Now, that about "Dragon" is something related to Secret Brotherhoods, Ancient Lodges, Monk's Hermetic Circles, and all those Ancient Secret Societies what populated China since times when Dragons ( as Egypt Sacred Serpents, Aztec feathered snake "Quetzalcoatl" and Voodoo's "Damballah/Aïda Wedo"=rainbow snakes) were adored as upper Gods... also, ancient Sumerians talked about some personage called "Oannes", half man, half Scaly skinned who's adored as semi god, and Hindus revered to "Kundalini" as the inner serpent. And last, the Holy Bible has a key "being": a Serpent! So, wings or not, it seems that Serpents and Dragon would be the same "beings": ancient mystic archetypes of people around the Globe. It's interesting from the Anthropologist view, but this place is not enough to explain in details.
