Description

The listing, Prismacolor Colored Pencils 48 in all BNIP has ended.

Prismacolor colored pencils are the top of the line! (in my opinion.) They've been around over 75 years for a good reason. This is a complete set of 48, many, many shades of color. Retail value is between $80-$90. I didn't understand why the price was so high until I bought a set, it was well worth it. Each colored pencil features a thick, soft core made from brilliant, light-resistant pigments, to ensure smooth, rich laydown and color saturation.
The colors are easily blended, slow to wear, break-resistant, and waterproof. Each 3.8 mm core is enclosed in a round cedar casing that is lacquered to match the core. Any artist will tell you these are great.

No problem, it was a great question, it's better to know before the auction ends. I had to learn that as well, took me a little longer than you though. lol. You have to post some stuff so you can get some more credits. I'm your newest fan. now start taking pictures.

Gee, I read someplace to use an electric sharpener. My husband got me one at wal mart...the only one they had, he said. It is indeed electric..it plugs in! I guess I need to find the other 2 little plain sharpeners that have gotten lost, right?

I have to ask, is the set unused and/or never opened? I don't want to buy a set and find most/all of the pencils used to the point of them being nubs.

BNIP written in the title of the auction, is an acronym for brand new in package

I'm going to try so hard to get these! I'm listing everything I can to get credits. LOL
I got a 12 pack of Prismacolor Scholar pencils. I'm thinking these might be better and oh my, all of those colors would be great! The more the better!

Wow! Great item. I'm debating.... Have a small set. My 4 year old only likes my Prismacolor markers. I spoiled him. Now he knows the difference.

I think, because the auction still has so many days, people are slow to bid until the last day or two. It's happened that way on other auctions I've seen.

I just did a little research because I'm not to familiar with the scholar ones. On a popular office supply website, these cost $25 more than the scholar set for the same amount of pencils. The scholar set has a harder core making it difficult to do any blending. This set sold for $62.99 and the scholar set was $37.99. I always find different prices on these, some try to get a bigger profit.
