The first digest size G.I. Joe comic, published by Marvel in December of 1984. Featuring the first three G.I. Joe Marvel comic stories written by Larry Hama, these include "Operation: Lady Doomsday" (drawn by Herb Trimpe) and the little-reprinted "Hot Potato" (drawn by Don Perlin) from 1982's issue #1; and issue #2's "Panic at the North Pole" (also drawn by Perlin). The digest also features special pages such as a two-page spread showcasing G.I. Joe's HQ, the PIT; and a character file/pinup of G.I. Joe counterintelligence agent Scarlett.
