Description

The listing, Team USA Tomatoes ☆ RED / WHITE / BLUE ☆ 30 seeds ☆ Organic has ended.

This is a collection of 3 heirloom & artisan tomato varieties, Old Brooks, Snow White, and Indigo Rose. These are all indeterminate varieties, which means they produce over the whole season. They will most likely benefit from some type of trellis or tomato cage. Cheer your USA Olympic Team on, and invest in your future. Sustainable seeds are GMO-free and can be saved for future harvests.

INDIGO ROSE Artisan Tomato- Considered a "blue" in the United States and a "black" in Europe, this is a tasty tomato that has hints of a plum flavor and is bred for high levels of Anthocyanin. 80 days to harvest.

SNOW WHITE Heirloom Tomato- This sweet cherry tomato will give you loads of harvest, though many of mine make it into my mouth before they even get into the house. 74 days to harvest.

OLD BROOKS Heirloom Tomato- This productive red tomato is a powerhouse in the garden, giving plenty of harvest for slicing, salsa, or canning. 78 days to harvest.

This Auction: You will be receiving 30 seeds from my garden, individually packed & labeled with 10 seeds from each of the above varieties. They will be sent First Class mail for FREE. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 70°F in the spring. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 2-3 seeds per pot and thin to one plant per container. After four weeks, transplant seedlings to larger pots, and about 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny, highly composted location when soil temperatures are at least 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Stake or cage the plants for support and to prevent sprawling on the ground.
