I am trying to identify a squash that I produced from seeds won on listia. Wondering if this is it, but mine looks a bit more squarish in shape, with patches of orange showing through, with that greenish blue gray skin.? Just wondering if it could be the same?

There is a variety called "Candy Roaster" which was developed by the Cherokee people in the southern Appalachians. It is an heirloom also and it can vary in size from 10 lb. to 250 lb...the shape can be teardrop, round, blocky, or cylindrical...the colors could be pink ,tan ,blue gray, or orange, yet most will have a fine textured orange flesh. this variety is still popular particularly in the southern Appalachians...The biggest one of these Blue Hubbards I grew was about 20 lb.....You might have had a Candy Roaster?...Hope that helped!
