Description

The listing, Yard Long Green Beans Non-GMO! has ended.

This auction is for 25 fully active non-hybrid seeds. These green beans are of the "no string" / vine variety, and beans grow up to two feet long. Due to their size it only takes a couple dozen per portion. Great flavor, and freeze well, which is great as a fifty foot row will produce approx. 2lbs. every other day! 25 seeds will make roughly a 25 foot row. They are ideal for container growing as well, when trellised! A must have for your garden!!
*BONUS*
*The winner will also receive growing tips that have been personally "fine tuned", for an optimal yield!

F/W/B just read an article on GMO good lord what are putting in the fields to max. growth of crops????.I try to plant as much as me and my husband can and our friends share gardens to maximize what we harvest. We raised all our pork this past year to min. buying from the stores and we starting raising our beef as well.I am very curious ....is this long bean from a heirloom seed of yours and is this a kind of Chinese variety of long bean...Thanks would love the info.................People need to wake up and realize what they are buying in commercial food stores.....and what some people are doing to max. their profits....

We (my family) have grown these for over 25 years...not really sure if the originated in China, but do not think they did. I would have to ask my father, but he passed away about 5 years ago, so that option is out. He used to kid about getting "bugs" in the garden and would say " I would not eat anything a bug wouldn't eat as well". When it comes right down to it, these GMO foods are all in the interest of big industry trying to increase their bottom line. Good for you for being health conscious!! Just fanned back.
