If you read the Energizer facebook site (and some couponing sites, I've heard) that people are reporting that lately (not during the first couple of months of the promotion), they are getting postcards in the mail asking for receipts. When I first did this, they didn't come back and ask for receipts. I agree, it is not in the original terms and conditions. But guess what? They are coming back and asking anyway, and denying claims if receipts are not provided. Maybe it is lawsuit worthy. I don't know. These things must have been too easy to steal of the packages or something.

Why are you telling everyone that the register receipt is required ----------to use these codes------------if that was requird it would be stated on the blue code thing and/////or on web site that you put the codes--- to get the cards-----they cant change the requirements after people buys the battiers ----sending letters out asking for a receipt is nonsence-----that would hurt their business and the might even get sued for changing the requirements -----that is not legal in any state
