I have some of these and am was very pleased by how well they work. Its not even close to enough light to read with but for a dark room it gives plenty of light to safely navigate the room. I have 2 of these each close by the windows and they seem to charge enough to get about 3-4 hours of light out of them after dark. They also have a switch that turns off the light so if you let them get a really good charge the light can last about 6-7 hours. I am happy with mine so far.
